This levitator operates at a frequency of 40KHZ in the air and can capture light objects with a density of 2-3MM in diameter, such as foam balls, ants and other tiny objects. They can be stably suspended in the air for a long time, and the motherboard will heat up slightly. The circuit mainly consists of a microcontroller, a driver chip and 2 ultrasonic transmitters. Mainly used to learn about ultrasonic standing wave levitation.
Working principle: Ultrasonic standing wave levitation is based on the fact that there is a certain distance between the ultrasonic transmitting end and the transmitting end (or another transmitting end) (called the resonant cavity distance), and the transmitted wave and the reflected wave (or another sound wave) are continuously superimposed, and finally form Standing wave, the sound wave force on the object at the node of the standing wave overcomes the effect of gravity, and finally achieves the effect of levitation.
How to play: Use tweezers to hold the small foam ball, and gently place the foam ball between the two ultrasonic probes, and the foam ball will float.
